P. C. SMITLEY JR.
P. C. Smitley, Jr., 52, of Uniontown, R. D. 1 (Airport Road), died Wednesday afternoon at his home.

He was born in Dunbar Township June 13, 1918, a son of the late P. C. and Jane Reed Smitley. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul R. C. Church of Leisenring, was a World War II veteran, B.P.O. Elks No. 3704 and F.O. Eagles of Dunbar Township. He was a sales representative for National Cylinder Gas Co. of McKees Rocks.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Helen Soltis Smitley, three daughters, Mrs. Buddy (Janet) Michael and Mrs. Fred (Joyce) Giachelli of Uniontown and Darlene at home, and one son, Donald at home. Also surviving are three grandchildren, two brothers, Thomas of Akron, Ohio and Jack K. of Dunbar and three sisters, Mrs. Mildred DeBlasio of Connellsville and Mrs. Agnes Maher and Mrs. Millicent Churray of Dunbar. He was preceded in death by one son and one brother.

FUNERAL NOTICE

SMITLEY - Friends of P. C. Smitley, Jr. of Uniontown, R. D. 1, who died Wednesday, April 14, 1971, may call at the Burhans Funeral Home at Dunbar from 7 to 10 p.m. today and 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Friday. Parish rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday with a blessing service at 9 a.m. Saturday followed by requiem high mass at 8:30 am.m. at St. Vincent DePaul R. C. Church in Leisenring No. 1 with the Rev. Henry Dimeen officiating. Interment in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
