Gene Cullifer
PARIS, Mo. — Gene Cullifer, 54, of Paris, died at 10 a.m. Friday (Jan. 11, 1985) in his home following an extended illness.
Mr. Cullifer was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Monroe County, a son of Russell and Mary William Cullifer. He married Martha Frey on March 24, 1956, Oa Porte, Ind. She survives. Mr. Cullifer was employed by the Economy Equipment Co. of Paris for 20 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Also surviving is his father, Russell Cullifer of Paris, two sons, Steve and Gary Cullifer, both of the home; a brother, James R. "Butch" Cullifer of Cleveland, Mo.; and a sister, Mrs. June Ewing of Moberly.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris by the Rev. Michael Hannah. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Paris.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Fund.
