It is believed that Rev Clark Brown was buried under the alter of the church. In a letter written by Tabitha Brown (his widow) to Noyes Brown (his brother), she states "His body sleeps undisturbed beside the altar of Wm and Mary's church." This was the church which Rev Clark Brown served in prior to his death.
