Funeral services for Donnie Shumate Longino will be Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie with the Revs. Joey Ducote, Paul Swinna and Donald Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Griffin Hill Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.
Mrs. Longino, age 85, of Lone Pine, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Bayou Vista Manor Community Care Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Leger of Turkey Creek; five sons, John C. Longino, Jr. and Greald Longino of of Lone Pine, Roy Longino (Peggy) of Bayou Chicot, Harris (Kathy) Longino and Gene (Tenia) Longino of Pine Prairie; one sister, Nina Johnson of Montgomery, LA; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 8 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
