Doris Conrad, 79, of Rockville, Md., passed away July 20, 2011 in her home at The Haven in Mechanicsville, Va.
She was the widow of Floyd Conrad and is survived by her children; Dan Conrad, Debra Conrad, Linda Harrison and Kim Sanders; grandchildren, Suzanna, Katie, Sarah, Sam, CJ, Riley and Madison; her only great-grandchild, Lilian; siblings, Marjorie Helmich, Jean Rutter, Bill Cochran, Abbie Butler and Ricky Cochran.
Mrs. Conrad was a member of Rockville United Church and felt closest to God when she was in her garden; she loved roses.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 29, at Pumphrey Funeral Home in Rockville, Md. A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Rockville United Church, followed by interment in Parklawn Memorial Cemetery.
