Elizabeth married John Franklin, Sr. 1803 in Chester County, South Carolina. They had five children when they joined her father, William Silas Collie(I) and extended family in the great migration west. They arrived at their destination just north of the Alabama State Line in Lincoln County, Tennessee in 1812 and settled on Coldwater Creek. Five more children were born in Tennessee. Elizabeth's father died in 1830 and she and her spouse were named in probate papers.
