Lubbock – Mrs. Nelda Jo Fuller, age 86, of Lubbock and formerly of Colorado City, died Thursday afternoon, March 14, 2013, in a Lubbock care facility. Services will be at 2 PM Monday, March 18, 2013, in the Kiker-Seale Chapel with Royce Clay officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fuller was born January 30, 1927, in Knott, Texas to Claude and Luan Malone Harland. She married L. G. Fuller on August 21, 1946 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1995. She graduated from Garner High School in Knott, Texas in 1944 and attended Howard County College, Abilene Christian College, and graduated from West Texas State College in 1950. She was a teacher for more than 30 years with several years at Wilson ISD Business as a teacher, but the majority of her teaching career was with Lubbock ISD as an elementary teacher.
After retirement, she moved to Lake Colorado City where she enjoyed fishing, socializing, reading and attending church at Plainview Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, Jimmy and wife Lori Fuller of Hamlin; grandsons: Shane and wife Amber and Rhyne and wife Casey Fuller; great grandchildren, Hunter, Tucker, Baxter, Ellie, and Nolan.

She is also preceded in death by her parents and her 9 siblings.

The family would like to thank the staff of Carillon House for the tender loving care she received in her last few years.

The family will receive friends 3-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
