The age on his stone is 31 years 2 months 26 days which results in a death date of approx. 12 May 1859. My file had 14 May 1869, evidently a typo. The Federal Census Mortality Schedules have his death date as May 1860 of consumption, but magnifying the picture of his stone on my screen shows the year as 1859. So this means it was 14 May 1859.
