DARDANELLE — Thelma Jewel Hamilton, age 94, of Visalia, Calif., died March 9, 2013, at Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
She was born July 31, 1918, at Montgomery County to the late Andrew and Grace Smith Warren. She loved to sew, garden and work in flowers. Most of all, she loved to play with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Hamilton Sr.; one daughter, Anita Gregory; and two brothers, Thurman and Dewayne Moore.
Survivors include her one daughter, Linda Cribbs and husband, Tom, of Visalia, Calif.; one son, Woody Hamilton and wife, Brenda, of Dardanelle; one son-in-law, Wally Gregory of Hot Springs; one sister, Loeda Marcrum of Perryville; one brother-in-law, Alvin Hamilton of Deming, N.M.; three sisters-in-law, Sue Moore of Orosi, Calif., Lorene Walston of Mena and Dovie Tanner of Russellville; eight grandchildren, Mike Gregory, David Gregory, Darla Saddoris, Leah Pratt, Tommy Cribbs, Valerie Seay, Blake Hamilton and Josh Hamilton; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
