Funeral services for Halaway Charlton, 68, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Tims Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. T. W. Berry officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

The services will be under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Charlton died in the Melrose Convalescent Home in Tyler Monday after a long illness. He was a life-long resident of Keltys, a retired employee of Angelina County Lumber Co. and a member of the Dawn of Light Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include ..

* Daughter: Mrs. Laura Claybon
* Sisters: Mrs. Myria Jackson, Mrs. Tennie Leftage and Mrs. Vina Kennedy
* Brother: Andrew Charlton
* 4 grandchildren

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Alfonso Charlton, Theron Williams, James Jackson, Lee Edward Charlton, D. Everett Garcia and Donald Ray Claybon.
