Our beloved mom, grandma, great grandma, great-great grandma, age 95, passed away March 6, 2013 surrounded by her family.

Ruth was born June 15, 1917, to William Valentine Belka and Esther Ruth Schoenfeld.

Mom grew up on the family farm in Buena Vista, which was later incorporated into Salt Lake City. She attended Boone Elementary, which was a two room school house, and graduated from West High School. She worked at Leon Brown Floral, where she met and married Horace A. Chapman (Bud) in December 1937. They were later sealed for time and all eternity. Together they raised their family in Salt Lake City, and Bountiful, Utah.

Mom was such a caring individual who helped so many friends and family along the way. She always put others first to make things better for people in need.

After Dads passing in 1975, mom went to work for the Davis School Nutrition Services. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served full time in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission. She served in many positions, including a Visiting Teacher up until her illness at the age of 94. Mom married Lonnie Wadsworth in 1985. He passed away in January 1987, Ogden, Utah.

Survived by one brother, Dale Belka, four children, Carla (Rumel) Kimball, H. A. "Bud" (Sherry) Chapman, Dorothy (Tommy) Espanoza and Peggy (Mike) Stults. 24 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, sister Dorothy Sherwin, and brothers Vernon, Leon, Elmer, Merlin, Howard, Alvin and Don Belka. Husband's Horace A. Chapman, Lonnie Wadsworth. Infant daughter Margie, daughters Mary Belle Nelson and Kathleen Vilos. Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Friday, March 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Orchard 2nd Ward, 3707 S. 800 W., Bountiful, and Saturday one hour prior to the services. Funeral will be on Saturday, March 16, at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd.
