LEE CLARK KILLED ON DUBLIN ROAD
Lee Clark, 35, of Cedar Grove was instantly killed and Dock McMillan, 34, a young farmer also of Cedar Grove community in Laurens County was critically injured in a collision of two trucks on the Dublin-McRae road Thursday night at seven o'clock.
It is reported that a truck in which Clark and McMillan were riding turned over after the collision with another truck, whose driver is listed as Carl Browning of Alamo. State patrolmen, investigating, have placed the blame for the collision on the truck driven by Clark, which was going south at the time, and state they will not make a case against Browning.
Both men were unmarried. Mr. Clark is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton, W. Clark, of Cedar Grove; two brother, Ralph Clark and Woodrow Clark, both of Atlanta; and three sisters, Mrs. C. R. Daniels, Miss Alma Clark and Miss Essie Clark, all of Cedar Grove.
Funeral services for Mr. Clark were held at Cedar Grove Methodist Church Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. C. A. Morrison, pastor of Alamo Methodist Church.
Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
