Rock Musician. He was a founding member and guitarist from 1971 to 1980, and 1993 to 1999, for the musical group, 'Foghat.' The group originally formed in 1971 in London, England, and also included Savoy Brown, Roger Earl, Lonesome Dave Peverett, Tony Stevens, and later Erik Cartwright. The group had a great popularity mostly in the 1970s when they had three platinum and eight gold records including, "Fool For The City" (1975), and "Stone Blue" (1978). Among their many hits were the recordings "Slow Ride," "I Just Want To Make Love To You," "Terraplane Blues," "Take It Or Leave It," "Wild Cherry," "Fly By Night," and "Golden Arrow," among many others. The group disbanded in 1984 but continued to record together. Price passed away unexpectedly at his home in Wilton, New Hampshire, after he accidentally fell down a flight of stairs.
