Of Rosiclare, IL passed away at 6:34 AM – Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare, IL.

Bobby was born on June 10, 1930 in Elizabethtown, IL the son of James Franklin "Frank "and Myrtle (Fulghum) Goins. He married Ruth Stanford on March 1, 1952 at the First Christian Church in Rosiclare, IL. Bobby served his country in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955.

Bobby worked for several years a Funeral Director Assistant for Hosick Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL and owned the Western Auto Store in Rosiclare for many years. He retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of service.

In 1968 Bobby was ordained as a Christian minister. He pastored at several churches over the years in Illinois, California and Arkansas.

Bobby was a dual member of the First Christian Church and Sardis Baptist Church. He was a master gardener and enjoyed raising orchids. He also enjoyed reading, wood working, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Bobby is survived by:

Wife of 61 years – Ruth Goins of Rosiclare, IL

5 Children – Rickie (David) Jones of Lutz, FL, Rhonda (Louis) Beck of Cooks Mills, IL; Robin Hughes of Wetumpka, AL, Randee (Steve) Walsh of Rosiclare, IL and Joey Goins of Springfield, IL.

16 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren 6 Great Great Grandchildren

Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; brother James F. Goins; 4 sisters Mae Carr, Mary Dale, Jewel Goins and Lucille Goins.

Funeral services celebrating Bobby's life will be held at 1:00 PM – Friday, March 15, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Rosiclare, IL with Jeff Hardy officiating. Burial will be in the Stone Church Cemetery near Rosiclare, IL with full military rites. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM – Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the church. In loving memory of Bobby, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church.
