Died at 3 p.m. Friday, October 25, 1968, at Veterans Hospital in Alexandria. He lived at 4925 Jefferson Avenue in Baton Rouge. He was 52 and a native of Baton Rouge. He was an oil field worker most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II. Body at Rabenhorst Funeral Home. Visiting hours until service time Monday. Funeral procession will leave Rabenhorst Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. Monday for religious services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survivors include two sons, Leo L. Colligan Jr. of Baker and William R. Colligan of Baton Rouge, three daughters, Mary Nell, Frances Marie and Janice Lynn of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Schene of Baton Rouge; one brother, William J. Colligan of Baton Rouge; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 38.
