Audrey Evelyn Pullen Cornell, 61, of West Lafayette, died at 10:25 AM Friday [May 15, 1981] in St. Elizabeth Hospital following several months of ill-health. Born at Glen, NE, she graduated from Cody, NE, High School. She was first married to Oliver Brooker. Her second marriage was to Floyd Cornell, who survives.
Mrs. Cornell moved to Tippecanoe County in 1941, and was formerly employed at the old Flame Restaurant, Purdue University Memorial Union, and the Knife and Fork Restaurant. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Cody, NE.
Surviving with her husband are a son, Jack Brooker of Lafayette; her father, Harvey L. Pullen of Dale, OR; one brother, Harvey N. Pullen of Addy, WA; one grandchild, one niece and one nephew. Preceded in death by a daughter.
