Susie I. Parmentier, 80, Marysville, Kansas, was killed in a head-on collision Saturday, August 4, 2001 near Belvue, Kansas.
She was born on a farm near Frankfort, Kansas April 6, 1921 to Fritz and Emma (Kipp) Benteman.
She married Harold F. "Babe" Parmentier March 4,1939 in Frankfort, Kansas. She lived in Marysville, Kansas since 1980.
Survivors include a son, Richard Parmentier Rossville, Kansas; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ricketts, Clay Center, Kansas; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; six brothers; Norman Benteman, Concordia, Missouri, Frank Benteman, Lee Benteman, Milton Benteman, all of Topeka, Kansas, Fritz Benteman, Lawrence Benteman and George
Benteman, Eskridege, Kansas; and four sisters; Mabel Breem, Godfrey, Illinois, Bertha Epperson, Hillsboro, Kansas, Martha Mullins, Yager, West Virginia, and Florence Kennedy,
Greenleaf, Kansas.
Mrs. Parmentier was cremated and memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 8, 2001 at Kinsley Chapel in Marysville, Kansas with Reverend Joel Barber
officiating.
Burial was in Berrett Cemetery, southwest of Frankfort, Kansas.
