James McKissick, age 75, died Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home near Harlansburg. He was born November 15, 1845, a son of William and Jane McKissick. He had been married 42 years, and for many years served as an elder in the United Presbyterian church of Plaingrove. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Mary McKissick, on son and one daughter, J. Gill McKissick and Mrs. Jennie R. Blevins both at home. He also leaves on brother, Maxwell McKissick of Pittsburgh. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late residence, and interment will be made in Plaingrove. Rev. John M. Cameron will be in charge of the funeral services.
