A. Kathleen McCammon, 85, Montpelier, died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at Millers Merry Manor in Hartford City, where she had been a resident since May, 2003.
Born in Blackford County on Oct. 30, 1919 to Carl and Nora (Williams) Campbell, she married William E. McCammon on Oct. 26, 1939 in Muncie; he survives.
A 1937 graduate of Eaton High School, she was active in neighborhood clubs and the Ladies Missionary Society at the First Baptist Church in Montpelier.
Other survivors include a daughter, Ann Trevarton of Greeley, Col,; two sons, Ted McCammon of Montpelier and Neil McCammon of Muncie; four grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Campbell.
Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Glancy Funeral Homes, Walker Chapel in Montpelier, with Pastor Darrin Morgan officiating. Visitation hours there are Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Eaton.
