Elizabeth Campbell Yeomans, a resident of Hot Springs Village, died July 12, 2007. She was 82 years old. She was born June 19, 1925, in Alexandria, La., to the late John Webster Hickman and Anna Pearce Hickman.

Mrs. Yeomans attended Virginia Intermont Junior College in Bristol, Va., and graduated with a degree in English from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority.

She was a founding communicant of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church where she was a member for 22 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing bridge, reading and traveling.

Mrs. Yeomans was preceded in death by her first husband, Ivan Campbell, in 1992.

Surviving are her husband, John Yeomans, of Hot Springs Village; son Alan Campbell of Connecticut; daughters Diane Campbell of Seabrook, Texas, and Katie Jones of Hot Springs Village; sisters Evelyn Scudder of Augusta, Ga.; Shirley Didier of Baton Rouge and Joann Sterkx of Alexandria; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Hot Springs Village.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38103.
