"David Huffman, aged 86 years, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. U. Hulin, in Youngstown, June 18th. He had been in the Youngstown hospital for ten days but did not improve under the treatment. Mr. Huffman had been a sufferer from diabetes with complications for some time but declined rapidly after his wife's death, which occurred just three weeks before. They had lived together almost 65 years. Both were born in Virginia but had lived in Ohio almost 50 years.

He was a faithful member and elder of the Disciple church at the latter place and always took great interest in every good cause. He clung to his faith and his Bible to the last. Funeral services were held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hulin, Tuesday afternoon, and later services were held in the Disciple church in Canfield, Prof. Interment was made in the Canfield mausoleum."
