Robert H. Clark, Sr., (better known by his family and friends as "Jack"), passed away at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor.

A native and lifelong resident of Gist, he was an oil field contractor. He was also a WWII U.S. Army veteran having served in all of the major battles in the European Theater.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mae Lea Clark, he was survived by his sons, Robert H. Clark, Jr. and his wife Kathy and Leslie D. Clark; daughter, Patricia Faries; seven grandsons, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Charles Clark, pastor of New Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Gist. Burial will follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor.
