Adrian A. Bottensek, 66, Family Heritage Nursing Home, died there at 10:15 a.m. Monday following a lingering illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Higgins & Sons Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Frank Kisner officiating, with burial in Forest Hills Cemetery. Mr. Bottensek was born in New London, July 29, 1907, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bottensek, and married Helen Flick. They were divorced and he married Dora Davis in Kodiak, Alaska, Feb. 22, 1946. He was employed as a night watchman at Preway, Inc. for eight years until he retired because of ill health. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Adrian Jr., Waupaca; Patrick and Michael, both at home; two daughters, Mrs. Dan Schanes, Wisconsin Rapids; and Mary, at home; four stepsons, Donald, Chicago; Harold and Ronald, State of Washington, and Robert, Beloit; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Alan Walker, Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers, Irving, Wisconsin Rapids; and Benjamin, Florida; and 17 grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services.

(Note: Some of the information listed for the survivors is incorrect. The maiden name of Adrian's first wife was "Glick" not Flick. Also, the children listed as stepchildren were Adrian's natural born children by his first wife, Helen. The residence for Harold and Ronald is the State of Oregon, not Washington.
