THORNBURG, Anna, d/o Joseph and Catherine (Davis) b. June 30, 1815-d. Mar. 17, 1892 age 76y 8m 17d. She moved to Ind. Aug. 10, 1823 m. Newton Baldwin Feb. 25, 1835 had 2 sons. He d. Dec. 10, 1849 and she m. 2nd. Daniel Thornburg Feb. 2, 1858. He d. 4 years later. She was a mem. of the Quaker church but later dismissed for MCD (Marriage Contrary to Disipline). Her last years were spent with a bro. Edom Davis. Fun. at the Church. A son Lewis D. (b. and d.1843) s/o Anna and Newton. A bro. George b. May 12, 1818 m. Charlotte Baldwin. A bro. John (b. May 19, 1823) and Edom W. (b. June 28, 1826), Lewis (b. June 26,1830-d. Oct. 30, 1840). Bur. West Riv. Cem. Death rec. Anna d. of La Grippe and pneumonia.
