Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinoi, Friday, September 19, 1969, page 3:
  Nancy Leila Blackburn, 37, died at 2:14 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, where she was admitted two days before.
  Born May 5, 1932, in Pin Oak Township, she was a daughter of Wilbur W. and Isola Buckles Blackburn, with whom she lived on Edwardsville Route 3 [now 4039 Blackburn Road].
  Surviving in addition to her parents are one sister, Mrs. Lester (Gladys) Bode of Edwardsville and one brother, Wallace W. Blackburn of Portland, Me.
  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon and Maurice Blackburn, who both died in 1939.
  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
  Friends may call at the Weber Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Saturday.
  The Rev. Walter Mehl will officiate at services at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Orville Harris, Udell Reid, John Peradotti, Gus Bode, Walter Geers and Oscar Bardelmeier.
