Pioneer Woman Resident Of Wylie Dies
      Mrs. Lena Daniel, 75 years old, widow of the late D. W. (Uncle Wright) Daniel, died at the home of Mrs. Josephine Daniel in Wylie at 9 p. m. Saturday, following a brief illness.
      She was a native of the state of Alabama, but had resided at Wylie for more than half a century. She and her late husband lived one mile west of Wylie until his death about two years ago.
      She is survived by two brothers and two daughters and one son. Her brothers are John and Walter Eckles. Her surviving children are Mrs. J. A. Pitts, Mrs. Mattie Walden and Walter Daniel, all of whom reside at Wylie.
      She was for many years a member of the Baptist church.
      Funeral services were held Monday, at 2 p. m., conducted by the Rev. J. Ben Snider, pastor of the King Memorial Baptist church of this city who was her former pastor at Wylie.
      Interment was in Wylie cemetery.
