Joseph Kosar, son of John and Barbara Marik Kosar, was born in Adams County, Iowa October 28, 1879 and passed away at his home at Walcott, Wyoming at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 5 days.
He took a homestead in Wyoming where he lived about 60 years. He was very well liked in the community where he lived.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and three brothers. He leaves to mourn his sister-in-law Clara A. Kosar of Nevinville, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held October 10, 1960 at 7 p.m. form Krating and Beemer Funeral Home at Creston with Rev. Azel Smith officiating. Music was by Mrs. Claude Hart and Mr. Henry Russell. Pallbearers were Ed Taha, John Taha, George Taha, James Kosar, Clifford Rice, and Stanley Vicker. Interment was in the Bohemian National Cemetery at Williamson.
