Guy W. Nordine, 96 of Kenton, died on Monday, Aug. 14, 2006 at Lillian Kerr Health Care Center in Phelps. He was born on March 17, 1910 in Kenton, son of the late August and Sophie (Melander) Nordine and attended the Golden Glow School in Kenton. He married Cassie Farero on July 15, 1939. She preceded him in death in 1981. He married Florence “Pud” Murphy on March 19, 1985. Guy started the Nordine Lumber Company and 1941 and operated it for 50 years. He was a 60 year member of the Ewen- Ontonagon Masonic Lodge in Ewen and the Ahmed Temple and Valley of Marquette Consistory, a past president of the Wisconsin and Michigan Timber Producers Association and the Duncan Township School Board. Guy enjoyed fishing, bowling and golf.
