Doris Jean Aspinwall Kingry, 85, of Jacksonville, FL passed away March 2, 2013. She was born on October 14, 1927 to the late Clifton and Gussie Aspinwall in Waycross, GA. The family moved to Patterson, Georgia when Jean was one year old. A graduate of Patterson High School, Class of 1945.
Jean and her husband Ronald lived most of their life in Orange Park Florida. She enjoyed art classes and playing bridge with friends. She was a member of Island View Baptist Church and will be remembered for her great love for her family and friends.
Mrs. Kingry was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Kingry; and 2 brothers, Hubert and Charles Aspinwall. She is survived by 3 sons: Ronald (Marian) Kingry, Jr., Gary Kingry; and Michael (Lynn) Kingry; grandchildren, Natalie (Rusty) Rohman and Ryan Kingry; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Nina (Dave) Casebeer; and a brother, David (Eloise) Aspinwall.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will commence at 2:30 pm officiated by Rev. Kevin Collison. Internment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida. 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Fl. 32257.
