Dean Cook, age 73, of Porter Springs, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett. He was born August 23, 1939 in Crockett and had lived all of his lifetime in Houston County. Mr. Cook was a graduate of Sam Houston State University where he was a member of the Rodeo Club. Mr. Cook was also a member of the Lothrop Masonic Lodge #21 and First Baptist Church in Crockett.
Preceded in death by parents, Vernon and Alma Cook.
Funeral services for Dean Cook will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ottis Byers, Rev. Joe Paul Granberry and Rev. David Culp officiating. Interment will follow in the Porter Springs Cemetery.
