IRVIN RITES SET SATURDAY
Stella Irvin, 89, of Wortham, died Thursday in the Wortham hospital and will be buried Saturday in Wortham Cemetery.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 am in the First United Methodist Church in Wortham with the Rev. A. Bailey Duncan officiating.
Mrs. Irvin was born November 27, 1889 in Wortham and had been a lifelong resident of Freestone County. She was a Methodist.
She is survived by her two sons, R.L. Irvin and H.L. Irvin both of Ferriday, LA; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include H.L. Irvin Jr., Lee Irvin, Joe Irvin, A.K. Boyd, Freddie Lee, Bill Tucker, Lemoine Bounds and Cloyce Floyd.
The Porter Funeral Home in Wortham is in charge of the arrangements.
