She died Thursday in Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo.
She had lived most of her life in Walnut Shade. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Church and the VFW Post 450 in Kansas City.
Survivors include three daughters, Patty Wood, Kansas City, Walsie Hodge and Debra Diza, Waco, Tex.; two sons, Roy, Waco, Tex., and David, Donie, Tex., two brothers, Fred Alms, Rockaway, Ore., Garland Alms, Walnut Shade; one sister Ava Stroupe, Pittsburg, Calif.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
