Judge Palmer's Wife Dies
This community was shocked Monday to learn of the death of the wife of Judge J.C. Palmer in the hospital at Springfield Sunday night. We understand the body was brought home for burial Monday. The funeral occurred Tuesday and was held at the home of Mrs. Chas. Ingenthron, daughter of the decreased, at Walnut Shade.
The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Melton of Christian Center. A large number turned out to pay tribute to the dead. Those from Forsyth were J. R. Gideon, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Groom, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fields, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Burns, Judge and Mrs. Burns, Judge Goetz, Mr. and Mrs Alva Hull and the two daughter of L. L. Ridge.
The sympathy of the entire community gone out to Judge Palmer and family in their bereavement.
