Funeral services for Dellis Q Angstrom, 61, of Creston, took place Monday afternoon, Sept 16 at the Christian Church in Creston with Rev Ron Greene officiating. Mr. Angstrom died on Thursday, Sept 12, 1985 at Deaconess Hospital . Anecia Hatten served as the organist at the funeral service, with Elaine Burton serving as the soloist. Casket bearers included Russ Sellers, Tom Martin, Ron McKay, C Jack Robertson, Andy Rustemeyer and Harold Roloff. Interment followed at the Wilbur Cemetery , with concluding rites conducted by the VFW Post. Mr. Angstrom was born Oct 7, 1923 in Creston. He attended Creston schools and became a graduate of Creston High School in 1943. He married Lois Boston the same year, 1943; and entered the US Army in 1944, serving until his discharge in 1946. Mr. Angstrom farmed in the Creston area until his health forced retirement. He also served as a member of the VFW Post 6268, and the Disabled Vets. Survivors include his wife, Lois at the home in Creston; two sons and daughters-in-law, Blake and Kathy Angstrom and Brad and Claudine Angstrom, both at home in Creston; a foster daughter, Nancy Brown of Kennewick; three brothers, Dean Angstrom and Boyd Angstrom of Wilbur, and Merle Angstrom of Medical Lake; 3 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 4 foster grandchildren.
