Aida Vazquez Etier went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2013, at the age of 90. She lived a long a productive life.
Aida is preceded in death by her husband, John J. Etier, Sr. in 2007 and her daughter, Barbara Crawford in 2002.
She is survived by her beloved children Carol Rose and John J. Etier, Jr. and wife, Sharon of San Antonio.
She is also survived by four granddaughters, Machelle Clarkson, Robin Hendrix, Racquel Harburgh, and Cassandra Sykes, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Forum at Lincoln Heights for the care and kindness they showed toward their mother.
A special thank you to Margaret who was an "Angel on Earth" for all the love, friendship and care she gave Aida.
