NEOSHO, MO.__Mrs. Opal Marie Cook, 78, 422 W. Spring St., died at 6 a.m. Friday at Sale Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Cook was born Aug. 9, 1903. at Granby and was a lifetime resident of Newton County. She married Charles Cook Nov. 12, 1921 They had operated grocery stores in Newton County for more than 30 years. He died March 10, 1962.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thea Pruitt, Neosho, two brothers, Charles Organ, Kansas City, one grandchild and tree great=grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Freund-Thomposn Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Grimsley will officiate. Burial will be in the Granby Memorial Cemetery.
