Wilma is survived by her daughter, Cody Davis Sanantonio, her granddaughters Christina and Tess Sanantonio, and three great-grandsons, (James, Ben, and Sam Splittstoesser). She is also survived by six brothers and two sisters. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, and 8 siblings. Wilma was married to Joseph Scott Davis and together they had one daughter, Cody Davis Sanantonio of Monticello. Wilma, or "Wimp" as she was affectionately called by many, was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and many generations of children adored her. After assisting her husband with his construction business for several years, Wilma owned and operated one of the first beauty shops in Monticello and throughout her 40 years of operation, hundreds of Monticello citizens were loyal customers and friends.
Wilma loved spending time with her family, doing daily crossword puzzles, cooking, and caring for others. She was always the first to find the fun in any circumstance and could be found sledding with her great-grandsons well into her 70s. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, March 14 from 5:30-7:00 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Arrangements: Cremation with interment in a private service at the Monticello Cemetery.
