Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ann Ladner, 74, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Crystal Springs Baptist Church. Revs. Danny Stevens and James Messer will officiate. Burial will be in Crystal Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Ladner passed away at her residence in Tylertown on Friday, March 1, 2013. She was born September 2, 1938 in Walthall County, Mississippi, daughter of the late Arthur Levi and Margaret Martin Alford. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by two brothers Travis and Thomas Alford.

She was retired after 25 years with the Mississippi State Employment Services, a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Ladner enjoyed gardening, cooking and taking care of her family.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Joe Ladner of Tylertown; children Lisa (Brett) Jones, Joey (Karen) Ladner, Sandra Stringer, and John (Amy) Ladner; brothers Hulon Alford and Dan (Joan) Alford; sister Mary Thornhill; grandchildren Jeremy (Kerry) Jones, Jonathan Jones, Christen (Kenneth) Ladner, Emily Ladner, Caleb Ladner, Kole Stringer and fiancée Paige, Katie Stringer, Derek (Amanda) Ladner, and Blake Ladner; great-grandchildren Gracie Jones, Mattie Jones, Brayden Ladner, and Wyatt Ladner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Shelton Stogner, Joseph Stogner, Alan Reagan, Greg Alford, Troy Alford, Jimmy Lowery, and Billy Wayne Thornhill.

Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 11 A.M. until service time there at 2 P.M..
