Son of Emsley Fincher and Mary Ann (Roub) Fincher. Married Elizabeth "Mina" Conley (1869-1953) 19 Dec 1891, Gallatin, MT.
Had three sons: Robert Conley Fincher (1893-1965) Sidney Dale Fincher (1894-1958) John Wesley Fincher (1901-1960). He did not marry anyone else. His wife outlived him and married again. He was buried in the Penawawa, WA cemetery (the town his father helped start) but his grave was later moved to the Colfax Cemetery when the Little Goose Dam covered the town of Penawawa with water.
