Mrs. Sarah Watkins, aged 78 years died yesterday morning at 5 o'clock at the family residence, 1858 Walker Street following an illness of three weeks.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. Thomas Walker officiating. The interment will be in West View Cemetery.
Mrs. Watkins grandsons will act as pall bearers. They are:
Messrs. Earl and Alley Redd, Louis and Harry Faulkner. Five daughter survive Mrs. Watkins, Mrs. Amanda Cadden, Mrs. Vandy Redd, Mrs. F. M. Smith, Mrs. William Faulkner and Mrs. Maggie Duncan, of Augusta; one brother Mr. Andrew Harris, of Williamston, S. C. also survives her.
