Helen was a cook for the Mill Village Elementary School before retiring after 28 years. She was a Den Mother of a Cub Scout and Girl Scout troop in the area for several years. She was a member of the Draketown Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Norr; seven brothers Clifford, Homer, Ed, Joe, George, Wellington and Lloyd Kerr; two sisters, Thelma Fries and Louise McGinnett, and a great granddaughter.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Donald A. Marzka; three children, Linda MacBlain of Mill Village, Richard Marzka and his wife, Jody, of Edinboro, and Milton Marzka and his wife, Linda, of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Wallace Kerr and his wife, Shirley, of Mill Village; three sisters, Dora Porter and her husband, Delbert, of Union City, Mary Ann Sharp and her husband, Ronald, of Waterford, and June Almazon of Waterford. Also eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mill Village Cemetery.
