U. L. Brown was born in Braggs, OK to Herbert and Edna Hibbs Brown.
U.L. had a younger brother, Jesse Ervan Brown of Tulsa, OK and a sister Joyce (Brown) Wilson of Hwy 10, near Tahlequah, OK.

He attended school in Braggs, Gaylor Bend, and Kansas, OK.
Before entering the service, U. L. married Marjorie E. Morgan on August 2, 1941,in Tahlequah, OK.
He finished his education while serving in the U.S. Navy from 1945 through March 1946, when he was honorably
discharged.

After serving in the Navy, U. L. was self-employed as a farmer. In 1952, the family moved to Tulsa, OK after he took a job with Pipeline Anode Company in Sand Springs,OK.
It is during this time, U.L. and Marge had children:
Joy Lavay in 1942, Victor Lee in 1943, Danny Ray in 1946, and Brenda Gayle in 1954.

As a valued employee, U. L. went to his next business at Standard Magnesium, remaining there when the company became Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation.
"Brownie", as co-workers called U. L., was recognized for many accomplishments with the company. He won a contest, open to all employees, by submitting the best idea for
streamlining a process resulting in increased efficiency and profits for the company.
The prize was an all expense paid trip for U. L. and Marjorie to several European countries.
He retired from his position as Plant Supervisor of Kaiser Aluminum in 1984.

U. L. was an avid fisherman, golfer, enjoyed hunting and all outdoor activities, especially camping with his family. After the children left home, U. L. and Marjorie traveled extensively in their RV. They especially enjoyed touring Colorado, California, and Nevada.

Their family includes 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
U. L. Brown was a beloved husband and brother, a loving father, a wonderful grandfather, and always a friend.

U.L. was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Jesse and his grandaughter, Vicky Lynn Brown.
