Harry Milton Mansfield on 01 Jan 1909, in Jonesport, ME, married Lillian B Sawyer, daughter of Ellery Augustin and Carolyn E (Watts) Sawyer. Together Harry and Lillian had 3 children, Ellery P, Myrtle (Mertie), Rosalie M. Mansfield. Lillian died 13 Feb 1971, in Bangor ME.

. HARRY M. MANSFIELD
. JONESPORT - Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the Congregational church for Harry M. Mansfield, 50, Rev. Elbert S. Emery officiating. Mr. Mansfield died in the Calais hospital after an illness of one week and his death came as a great shock to relatives and many friends. He was the son of George F. and the late Elbertie A. C. Mansfield and was born in Jonesport, where he always made his home. He attended the public schools of Jonesport and Washington Academy and graduated from Bowdoin College in the class of 1905, where he was a charter member of the Bowdoin college chapter of Delta Upsilon fraternity..
. For many years he was associated in the sardine packing business with his father, was a former chairman of the Board of Selectmen and a former member of the school board. He was also active in politics, at one time being chairman of the Democratic town committee and a member of the county committee.
. While in the sardine business Mr. Mansfield had travelled extensively through the western states selling his company's products. An artist of no mean ability, his paintings adorn the walls of his home and those of his friends. He is survived by his wife, Lillian S. Mansfield, a son Ellery, two daughters, Myrtle and Rosalie, his father, George F. Mansfield, and two brothers, Harvey F. Mansfield of South Portland, and Edward A. Mansfield of Jonesport. Bearers were: George O. Beal, Merton O. Hall, Edward B. Sawyer, and Russell H. Rogers. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery.
