Theron Allen Lollar was born March 14, 1898 in Waltonville, to Albert Harrison and Mary Jane Allen Lollar. He leaves a brother, Bernie of Alto Pass, and Max, of Hampshire.

He married Alta Abernathie on March 21, 1924 in Cairo. She survives. A son, Allen, was killed in action during World War II.

Mr. Lollar was principal of the McClure High School in the early 1920s. He served as parts manager for Vogler Ford in Carbondale, and was employed at Morgan Motors in Murphysboro for 33 years. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, and was a trustee emeritus of the church.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 241 in Carbondale for more than 50 years. He was a veteran of Army service in World War I, and was a past commander of Paul Stout 127 of the American Legion in Murphysboro.

Mr. Lollar died at the age of 80 in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
