"Debra Deavor, of Walden, a waitress and bartender at the Talk of the Town in Walden, and a longtime resident, died Monday, February 21, 2005 at Elant at Newburgh. She was 50.

The daughter of James and Dorothy Haywood Fitzmaurice, she was born August 11, 1954 in Washington, D.C.

Survivors include one brother, John Fitzmaurice of Texas; four sisters, Lenora Fitzmaurice of Santa Cruz, CA, Lynda Purdy of Pulaski, NY, Myrna Figgs of Gibsonton, Fla and Paula Vandermark of Accord; her companion, James Godfrey Jr. of Walden and many nieces and nephews.

Visitiation will be on Saturday, February 26, 2005 from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. at Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. James Van Houten officiating.

Cremation will be in Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society.

Arrangements were made by the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc., 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY."
