Uncle Abe Leatherman of Highland, passed peacefully away on Sunday March 22, 1891, at 10 o'clock. He was nearly 77 years old. His disease was dropsy. He had long been a member of the Christian Church and felt strong and triumphant in the shady valley. Few of his years have done less harm or had more friends in the world.
