Christine Slaven Letner age 89, of Sharps Chapel TN, formerly of Cincinnati, OH departed this life on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Claiborne County Hospital. She was born in Oneida on July 20 1923 to the late Leland and Nellie Abbott Slaven.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Letner; and son Garry Letner.
She is survived by one daughter Patricia Summers and husband Billy of Sharps Chapel, TN; one son Calvin Letner of Burnside, KY; special companion Emil Matecha of Cincinnati, OH; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as several friends and cousins.
Friends may visit with the Letner family on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 12(noon) until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Sister Diane Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Marcum Cemetery.
