Margaret Inez Allen, 81, of Fredericksburg died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at Carriage Hill Nursing Home. She had retired as a nursing aide from Woodmont Center.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Lee Allen Sr.; a son, Eddie Allen of Fredericksburg; two daughters, Charlotte Decatur of Summerfield, Fla., and Terry Brewer of Fredericksburg; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 13, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the Rev. Willis Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David Decatur Jr., Dennis Toombs, Brent Lease, Jacob Lease, Joseph Newton III and Jeffrey Newton.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
