Her husband Roy Jackson Whitehead, stabbed her to death in front of their 3 young children, then proceeded to take off on his motorcycle and crashed shortly after....he died at that scene.

Adeline K. "Addie" Simms, 34, of Pueblo, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cathy Dodd; and grandparents, Myrtle and Ruben Dodd, Dick Simms and Wilma Sease. Addie is survived by her 4 children; her parents; a brother and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends. Viewing, 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, Romero Chapel. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Tuesday, Praise Assembly of God Church. Cremation to follow. Relatives and friends will be received at the church hall following service.
