She was married to Dr. Charles Foster Reed, DVM, in 1944; he preceded her in death in 1995.
Christine created beauty in her life and the lives of others; her lovely home was an extension of her warm, southern hospitality. She loved flowers, sewing, baking, and The Peoples Church choir. She was a member of the People's Church and Rebekah Circle.
Christine is survived by her daughter and best friend, Nancy Olivia Reed; her son, Scott Hayward Reed; and 2 grandchildren, Sara Christine Reed and Stanley Scott Reed, of Spokane, Washington.
A service was held in the spring of 2010.
